Sorna Pack 1 Teaser/Beta

This is the Sorna pack teaser I've decided to release becuase its been taking while. I kinda got distracted a little bit changing the sky and messing with the lighting of the game but its been worth it. There's no readme becuase its really simple to install. Just place everythin in the matlibs folder into your matlibs folder. And place everything in the terrain folder into your terrain folder. And finally place everything else in your regular JPOG data folder. Remember to back up your files. Also there's a few issues I'd like to point out. At this time I'm not ready to have the skins MST so that's why the male rex replaces the dead skin so if you can't view dead skins you won't be able to see the bull rex. Also I'm not sure if the grass works on all quality graphics but needless to say in order to have it on your game you must be able to enable grass first. There's no problems with the sky and there shouldn't be any problems with the lighting effects either. Also there might be some joint problems in I think two of the skins don't worry that'll be fixed when the full pack is released.

I don't want to make this post longer than it is so I won't post pictures of the 4 dinosaurs skins. The skins that are in are the male raptor, the female TLW rex, the bull rex, and the pachy. If you want to see what the look like check the last pages of the Nublar pack I made and you should find some.And finally here's the download

i cant see the raptor all that well and i think theres a light joint issue with the pachy's leg

That's the point of the long grass to make it more like TLW . But anyways here's a picture without the grass that high :



And yeah the pachy has a leg issue that I'm going to fix before the final version.

yeah i still cant see the raptor jumping 7ft into the air xD nice job with them i love the TLW raptor, best raptor in JP ive ever seen, better than the JP3 raptor if you ask me

Yes if you look in the first post because he sais he used the dead skins, that way only 2 dinosaurs of the same model can be skinned.

I don't see the problem with the dead skins, I for once never cared for the dead skins.

I dont care about the dead skins, but that way you only can have 2 trexes in one game, with MST, you can have 40. Do you get it now?

Yes, but right now I don't see him putting 40 in the game.

No but is was an example, I think he wants 4 rexes, the JP rex, the TLW F&M rex, and the JP/// rex, so the only way by getting that is with an normal, new model MST (with model I mean the files of the model folder in the data folder, not an new dinosaur that is diffrend from the other dinosaur models in the game)

I got the rexs in the same pic by just using the Isla Mutre cheat not so hard . And yes the last pack which will be Sorna part 2 I will want the JP,TLW rexs and the JP/// rex in the same game. For the final version of this part I'm only going to have the JP and TLW females MST with the bull. But I'm not nearly ready for that becuase I wanted to fix the JP rex as well as some of the other Nublar skins and I have more Sorna skins to do. I will say that the TLW para is about 70% done which means after that skin I only have TLW trike, stego, and I have to make a compy. The end result will probably have all Nublar skins MST with the new Sorna skins. I'm also thinking of a way to MST a compy as dinosaur poop which means that they won't have to eat anything and they might stay small but I'm not 100% sure. Along with that I'll also have to of my own islands in the pack one of Nublar and one of Sorna pre JP///.

nice skys but i was thinking and why not make the heat wave sky a hazy grogy looking clear blue sky, cuz if you go to the dessert and you look at the sky its clear and blue. just thinking. and nice pachy. you should also change the tree density thing.

That's true the original heatwave sky actually looks more of a afternoon sky more than anything so that's why I followed the trend when I made the new heatwave sky. The tree density mod is in the pack i put it in to get a more dense Jungle Sorna feel to the game.
