jp trex again v3, tlw buck rex finished

yea so i made another jp1 rex
i think it looks good.




unfortunatly i dont have the download link yet as its on a tjoe mst pack. i needed to put it on the trexn dds slot so my jpog would run without crashing.
maybe later ill just upload the file if i cant figure things out.

Thanks guys, I used scans of the original jp maquttes used for the animatronics and cgs.

Can I see the rest of the body? The head looks awesome, but I can only see black from the angle in the pic.

The textures themselves remind me of Andre's old brown T-rex which had Female TLW Rex body and raptor's legs. Similar concept of creating a skin, or completely new source of textures? Just wondering. No, I don't state it's stolen, just its textures look similar.

If you want to know there's a maqutte of the trex they used in the movie for the cg and animatronic references. There's a guy on jpl its like gui21 or something that made made scans of various trex photos including the one I spoke of above. Also andres used the original maquette, I used a scan as so did mansauro(sorry if I spelled it wrong) and from posts that were posted on his skin references, mega spino. Search on jpl he has a 58 page topic on it, he's really good with the 3d models and such.

thanks i used the dodge tool to lighten it up a bit and added a fresh light coat of textures to make it looks a little more tanish.

Yeah it looks much better.

V3 is really good. Just my little suggestion, to make it look more like the original JP rex why not make the stripes a little bit more blue on the back.

Thanks, gots some joints but I got bigger problems, jpog and personal combined.

I wouldn't say its the best bull ever because it doesn't really look like the bull, but I praise you for the texture. If you wanted to make it look even more like the bull make it a more dark green and add the black stripes.

Megaspino's got a point there. Isnt the bull rex usually a really dark sort of green? But dont get me wrong though, VERY nice skin dude!

Yeah there aren't really any real good pics for reference but I agree on the color. The problem is apearently my screen is a different color than most other people a brown would look almost purple on my screen. Also however the buck may have been light beasuse it was all ways in dark not light.
