Compy 101's Fire Tornado!
This is one of my currently new particles mod,it is called:
TORNADO OF SCORCHING FIRE!!!
But this will just change the particles that are made by the tornado,not its color.
It is just as simple as changing the particles,but this time,you will have to edit the Tornado's INX file.
Just open it with notepad,then find this line:
particletype = "splash";
numparticles = 60;
lifelostpersec = 0.166667;
tex = "data/particle/smoke2";
blend = "translucent";
startr = 142.000000;
startg = 142.000000;
startb = 108.000000;
starta = 80.000000;
endr = 157.000000;
endg = 157.000000;
endb = 141.000000;
enda = 0.000000;
startsize = 7.000000;
endsize = 15.000000;
ejectradius = 1.904000;
ejectforce = 1.428000;
weight = 0.000000;
sparkhead = 2.000000;
sparktail = 2.000000;
sparkwidth = 2.500000;
emitoverframes = 100;
emitoverframesspeed = "linear";
splashloop = "none";
startsizerand = 0.000000;
endsizerand = 0.000000;
lifelostpersecrand = 1.000000;
ejectdirrand = 2.000000;
ejectforcerand = 2.000000;
weightrand = 1.000000;
framenum = 1;
modelname = "Tornado";
bone = "D_Tornado";
locatoroffsettype = "local";
locatoroffsetx = 0.000000;
locatoroffsety = 0.000000;
locatoroffsetz = 0.000000;
locatordirtype = "local";
locatordirx = 1.000000;
locatordiry = 1.000000;
locatordirz = 1.000000;
and change it to this:
particletype = "fire";
numparticles = 60;
lifelostpersec = 0.666667;
tex = "data/particle/smoke2";
blend = "translucent";
startr = 255.000000;
startg = 176.000000;
startb = 23.000000;
starta = 150.000000;
endr = 255.000000;
endg = 108.000000;
endb = 0.000000;
enda = 0.000000;
startsize = 30.000000;
endsize = 30.000000;
ejectradius = 1.904000;
ejectforce = 1.428000;
weight = 0.171600;
sparkhead = 2.000000;
sparktail = 2.000000;
sparkwidth = 2.500000;
emitoverframes = 100;
emitoverframesspeed = "linear";
splashloop = "none";
startsizerand = 0.000000;
endsizerand = 0.000000;
lifelostpersecrand = 1.000000;
ejectdirrand = 0.400000;
ejectforcerand = 1.000000;
weightrand = 1.000000;
framenum = 1;
modelname = "Tornado";
bone = "D_Tornado";
locatoroffsettype = "local";
locatoroffsetx = 0.000000;
locatoroffsety = 0.000000;
locatoroffsetz = 0.000000;
locatordirtype = "local";
locatordirx = 0.000000;
locatordiry = 1.000000;
locatordirz = 0.000000;
Its very easy! Now,you can enjoy the sight of your tornado tearing through your park,and at the same time burn it into fiery bits!
Enjoy!
