Re: Carcharodontosaur For JPCEP
The term "best skin ever" depends on the taste of the individuals. Some skins are more mainstream appealing, some will appeal only small groups of people. Not to mention when I see "best ever" I start to wonder where the person who used it will use it again xD
Anyway, aristo. When you create underbelly for dinosaur and you see that you don't have the texture under the arm/leg (on your skin I see that arm texture is layed on the downside of the chest), try to use the texture from the middle of underbelly. It looks better than arm painted on the dinosaur's chest ^^
Anyway, the skin itself looks good and visually appealing.

Re: Carcharodontosaur For JPCEP
True, Gorsh but hard to do that because if trying to do that the image texture not enough to fill back dinosaur? But thanks Gorsh for the tips, actually i'm more appreciated suggestion and critique than compliment(not to mean don't like compliment, i still like it but more appreciated suggestion)

Re: Carcharodontosaur For JPCEP
I have to disagree with you, jplm. Andres has released one rex skin so far. And one beta-stage environment mod. And only some spoilers of what he's working now. Yes, they are probably the top quality ones, but this does not make him the best. Why? Because I think even RaptorSpinoRex, T-Joe and spino77 are better. Why? Because they contribute to JPOG community more and have mods of great quality too. I do not neglect Andres to be talented and well aknowledged with jpog modding, nor I neglect his modification screenshots to be awesome. The truth is, we have more active people that infact contribute more and are underestimated because everyone compares everything with andres' screenshots and videos.
When you repeat something thousand times, you belive in it. People are talking about Andres as if he was god of jpog modding, but the truth is that they, and only they, were the ones that started to worship him for his screenshots and YT movies revealing his works.
Sorry for going offtopic above.

It is enough. Sometimes you have to resize it to be larger or repeat the texture, then use smudge tool to make the skin bumps. When I'm repeating the texture, I tend to put another on top of it (with lower opacity, between 30 and 50 %) to give it a varying impression.aristo wrote:True, Gorsh but hard to do that because if trying to do that the image texture not enough to fill back dinosaur?

Yes, I know. I mean, resize it only when you need, for parts you need. I happen to end up with 3 same pictures of various sizes just because I need some textures smaller and some bigger from them.

When I fill joints, I do it with exactly the same texture on both joint ends. no exceptions.

Re: Carcharodontosaur For JPCEP
Well, usually there's no need to reverse, but sometimes it helps also. Only thing I always keep in mind is to rotate, resize and play around with the source texture as long as needed for it to look right. Then it's only a matter of cloning.
