Dude, I'm not trying to sound like a critic or something, but I believe you overlooked several things:
1. Your edited SpnoHngr file doesn't add ANY new behavior at all...as in the carnivores actually DON'T ambush, as you said. You didn't reuse the old SpnAmbsh file properly, because your file doesn't call it, and the file hasn't been edited to make a successful ambush at all, because the anim used in the file is the amb_st anim, which was never placed into the final game.
2. The damage done by large carnivores is more or less, way too unrealistic, because you couldn't expect that an Allosaurus could easily kill a Triceratops with just one bite.
3. Lastly, I just want to tell you that I already made a modification of the SpnoFlee file which is identical to the one you did. The only problem is you didn't change the animation used when attacking the vehicle, and I was able to make Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus use their death duel animations to demolish the vehicle, and not force them and all other large carns into playing an anim they don't even have, and not even cause any damage to the vehicle.
Sorry again if I'm being too much of a critic.

Dude, there's no ambush behavior in the game when I placed your files, and if they're not gonna use the ambush anim, which doesn't exist, why did you include the SpnAmbsh file?
And as it turns out, your SpnoHngr file actually is corrupted, because one of its states leads to a state that is not even inside the file!
If you don't mind my criticism, you need to learn more on editing fsm files.

Well the new download has the right files apparently now. But I have to tell you though:
1. I didn't actually see carnivores ambush when hunting prey...
2. I noticed some problems with the C_flee and H_flee files: there's a sort of gap between distance calculations and stuff, if you know what I mean...

Dude, I believe these tactics are actually just pure coincidence. Because the carnivores have the seektargetoffset code when chasing prey, which means that the predator can move in different directions when chasing prey, and the prey will just coincidentally wander off in circles.

You still haven't said if you read one of my posts earlier. Just wanted to let you know that I already did a mod exactly like it before. So can you at least say that someone already did part of your mod before?
