PMEP (Procompsognathus100 and Mamenchi Expansion Pack)

Actually the funny thing is there is a lack of WWD packs xD most were never finished

Please help me ..the skins wont still show......
When i extracted the rar file to the data folder
i replaced all of the files but the skins won't show in game only the default skins still show.....HELP!!!!

Wait a minute. Dude, is your graphic setting on 16 bit? I think you need to have it on 32 bit....I remember the original folder only having the skin files for 32 bit. You can find it in video settings when you launch your game.

Not only you can use this, but you can go to matlibs folder , delete the digsite_16 files and copy the digsite tmls , paste them in the same folder (matlibs folder) and rename it digsite_16. For example : dinos_chenini

You delete dinos_chenini16 , and copy dinos_chenini, renaming that copy to dinos_chenini16

This works with me when I MST or do something like that, so the skins will be the same on both configs...

Don't know if you were talking to me , but if you were, I was referring to WWD series ;D

Actually, that's something I do myself, and I did that in the fixed version of it, but that doesn't explain why you're encountering problems,

In that case he should have other mods installed . .. too bad it's not compatible with the others, that can difficult it's usefull ... will the dinosaurs still have behaviors with other mods installed?

Yes, but actually, this pack is not compatible with any and I really mean ANY other skin, mod, or expansion pack, especially the GEPs. Like I said, even one mod installed other than those of the PMEP will ultimately alter its expected functionality.

Alright I'm back... now now let's solve one problem at time... MC_JPOG, you don't need to change the skins into DXT5, because all you have to use are the dds files I put into the PMEP folder.
But before I tell you the solution I need to know if you have the original Matibs in your jpog...
Do you have the original Morrison a.tml ? Was that you wanted to change, was it? I mean the Dryo skin.

Well, the Dryosaurus was only a example, let's think : I only want some skins at the pack and the Dryosaurus is one of thems. I have not the original matlibs that came with the game, but the tmls are changed, you know, I placed some skins of my favorites into them. The files I have in Matlibs folder ARE NOT PMEP ones.

I want to put the Dryosaurus skin along with the skins I already have from that tml, don't wanna all the dinos_morrisona file from PMEP... So? What should I do?

PS : Consider that normal replacing the files with HxD (Or Neo Editor, if you have that one ), with the tml opened doens't work...

Alright, now I need to know if all your dds files have the same dimension... my Dryo.dds ( for example ) is 512x512... What about all your dds files? This could be the reason why your game crashes when putting my skins!! All the dds files must have the same dimension....

257x257 (something like that) , it's the dimension... Wow... Never thought it would be soooo easy to find out . . . Is there a way to redimension your skins ? You know, have them has the same resolution, same dimension ? ...

Well, if you want your dds files to have the same dimension, I suggest you to:
-take a dds file that is 512x512;
-then take your skin, select it all, copy it and paste it on the dds file which is
512x512;
-then enlarge the picture, in order to make your skin exactly as big as the dds
file which is 512x512;

If you use photoshop this is the right sequence of actions you have to make...

After all these actions save your dd file with its new dimension and then paste it into a Matibs which contains all the skins with the same size.
Use that matibs and then past your skin in it with Hex editor...
This should work... tell me if something goes wrong!

Just passed by to tell that I already fixed my problem and that your skins can very well be redimensioned to my tml skins dimensions.

The dinosaurs now work perfectly in-game.

in medium terrain quality, when you are near the sea, and have the camera ata a certain angle, the land disappears, leaving the trees, buildings, and dinosaurs, walking on top of water, behind. here's a pic:

Oh yeah, I noticed that post on JPL. I think it's a result of what Mamenchi said to do in the constant file, about the drawback distance and stuff....

I have installed all of the terrain files and beefed up my graphics yet still can't see the new terrain. Is there something I'm not doing?

Hmmm.....I'm not sure, but do you have grass on and high terrain quality?

Yes I do and oddly it still doesn't work.

Open Setup and see if you have LOW QUALITY on, that may affect it no P100?

Where is that? The setup ini?

Yeah, it will affect it. Check it in the Setup folder. The one directly below the Data folder. But honestly, I don't know how diverse the effect of the terrain is in-game, because my computer has a lower graphics card than Mamenchi's...and he made the terrain and skins of the dinos...
